03/19/12 - Here We Grow!

Jabez has been enjoying steady growth over the past year and a need to expand. We've just completed building onto our location at 4508 Fennel Rd. here in Knoxville, TN and we have relocated our Corporate Office next to our Shop and Cross Dock. With our 24/7/365 Dispatch Department, Recruiting/Training offices, Shop/Maintenance/Cross Dock, Human Resources, Safety Department, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Terminal Manager, CFO and CEO all in one location, we are not only able to operate more efficiently to serve our customers but also, happy to be together.

07/01/11 - Cross Dock Location

Jabez opened a four bay garage for cross docking, storage, routing, truck repairs, and maintenance. This location also has offices for recruiting, orientation/training, shop personnel, a driver lounge, and has a monitored parking area. Two full time mechanics are on duty M-F to maintain our fleet and to offer leased on trucks reduced repair and maintenance costs.

1/10/11 - Growth Strategy

Leasing on to our fleet became easy when we opened our fleet to solo tractor operators and fleet owners. Jabez found ways to utilize solo drivers by securing non expedited freight that offers steady income to the solo driver and the owner year around.  Jabez recruits drivers through targeted nationwide advertising, Jabez interviews, and insurance underwriting review.

01/01/11 - Jabez Incorporates

Jabez offers state-of-the-art dispatch technology, added phone routing options, on hold messaging, dispatch staff, and dedicated weekend dispatch to service our clients 24/7/365. 

09/01/10 - Address Change and Growing Gain

Jabez has experience tremendous growth since September 2008 and has again moved into a larger office to accommodate staff additions and separate areas for training, break room and a kitchen. Jabez has recently incorporated, purchased state-of-the-art dispatch technology, added phone routing options and on hold messaging, added dispatch staff and has a dedicated weekend dispatcher to assist our clients. 01/02/10 - Owner Assist Option

Truck owners now have the option of letting Jabez handle some of the administrative task that can be time consuming, expensive and frustrating when done by the owner. Jabez offers to pay the driver(s) for owners, provide weekly reconciliation and direct deposits into the owner and driver(s) bank accounts, maintain records of loads, maintenance, repairs, expenses, and provide I.F.T.A. and I.R.P. filing for the owner so they can pay the fees.

09/30/2009 - New Dispatcher

Jabez added three dispatchers and a dedicated weekend dispatcher to our staff to better serve our growing number of clients.

08/03/2009 - Jabez Anniversary

Jabez celebrated its third anniversary with some exciting additions for our clients; Unlimited capital made available by obtaining public investor financing, increased coverage on cargo to $250,000, the addition of tractors and vans to our fleet, have successfully hauled over 3,400 loads, a 98.8% on time rate and enjoy a satisfactory transportation safety rating.

07/01/2009 - Transflow

Jabez began “Transflow” scanning which allows us to process invoices within 7 days of delivery. This means our clients can process their paperwork faster and get paid faster by the shipper.

03/18/2009 - New Location

After months of planning and preparation Jabez moved into its new office. The location is a new development off Callahan Drive in North Knoxville:

Staff from our Indiana office were in town for the week to assist in the move and to provide cross training to maximize employee skills and share ideas of better ways to service our clients. 

03/18/2009 - New Programs
The answers we received to the questions in our survey of clients has been instrumental in creating two new programs. One will address the competitive nature of the economy. The other will meet their desire for reliability of service. These are "Straight Line Pricing" and "Any Delay, No Pay" programs.

Straight Line Pricing allows you to lock in, for any given month, competitive hauling rates per type of truck used. These per mile rates include fuel charges. Even better news is that based on a number of circumstances, the quote you get for a load MAY be lower than the guaranteed low rate.

03/18/2009 - GPS
Jabez has added GPS tracking capability to all of our units.  This will allow us to have 24/7, minute by minute, instant vehicle location and verification of pickups and deliveries. This tracking system allows instant messaging for communications and updates to and from the drivers.
